Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Iconkiln ("the Service"), operated by Iconkiln Studio, Inc. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Iconkiln generates icons using AI image models (currently Google's Gemini family) on your behalf. You provide a subject, palette, and style; we render images and store them in your account.

2. Accounts

You must be 13 or older. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity under your account. New accounts receive 10 free icon credits.

3. Credits and payments

The Service is paid for with credit packs purchased through Stripe. Credits do not expire, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. One fast generation costs 1 credit; one pro generation costs 4 credits. Failed generations refund their credits automatically.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Iconkiln to generate content that:

• Depicts minors in a sexual context, or sexual content involving real people without consent
• Promotes violence against, or hatred toward, any individual or protected group
• Imitates a real person's likeness without permission
• Infringes a third-party trademark or copyright
• Attempts to defeat our safety filters or rate limits, or to harvest credits via automated signup

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, and may forfeit unused credits in such cases.

5. Output ownership

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Google's applicable terms for the Gemini models, you own the icons you generate, including for commercial use. We make no warranty that your generations are free of third-party rights — that responsibility is yours.

6. Sub-processors

We use Google (Gemini) for image generation, Supabase for data + storage, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email, Cloudflare for security, Upstash for rate limiting, and Sentry/PostHog for diagnostics. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no SLA. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion removes your projects, generated images, and personal data within 30 days. Unused credits are forfeited on deletion.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will email you and require re-acceptance for material changes. Continued use after a non-material change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction.
